Aussie 1, 2 at Powertrophy 10km

James Attard and myself ran in the Powertrophy 10km here in Wimbledon, London today. After seeing the pounds flying out of the wallet, the race offered a good opportunity to get some cash back. Prize money of £100 ($235 AUS) for the win and £60 and £30 for 2nd and 3rd was good incentive for us to tackle the tough 10km course.

It was a beautiful warm day and the scenic course took us around Wimbledon Common and by the famous Wimbledon Tennis Club. I was fortunate to get away from James at the end of the first long climb and take the win and more importantly the cheque, James managed to take second so it was a good day all round.

Heading up to Edinburgh on Wednesday and all primed for a big race at European Championships
