2007 Montlucon Duathlon Team Announced
The Montlucon Triathlon and Duathlon Club in France have today announced their line up to compete in Division 1 of the French Duathlon Grand Prix Circuit. Many of the world’s top du and triathletes compete with French teams and the inter club competition is fiercely contested. This rivalry has created a competitive market place where athletes are well rewarded and looked after for their racing services.
The team is listed under “L’equipe de duathlon 2007” at www.montlucon-triathlon.com. It is all in French but most of it can be interpreted! I am looking forward to representing the club with distinction and helping to improve on the 2006 club ranking of #6. The first race for the season is now only 6 weeks away at Chateau Renault in the Loire Valley, South West of Paris.
On the preparation front, I will race the Trievents Three Bears Meelup Triathlon on February 24th. My foot injury is now recovered and I am looking forward to racing over one of the most beautiful and challenging triathlon courses in the country. It will have been 5 years since my last triathlon and I expect to have a very tough day chasing down as many competitors as possible after the swim. If you have not raced this race before it is a must do.
Go to www.trievents.com.au for all the details.
See you at Meelup
